It was hard to say goodbye....

...but we had to leave El Cosmico and Marfa for our next adventures.

The Flock started off the day with breakfast at Buns & Roses, which allegedly has the most wonderful sombrero-shaped donuts in the world.

Most of the day was spent traveling, watching the landscape evolve.

Most of us had never experienced the West Texas desert, so we stopped to admire the scenery in Guadalupe Mountains National Park.

Our second stop of the day was at Carlsbad Caverns. We rode an elevator down 755ft. to explore the caverns. But first, we encountered a large group of preteens who inspired Nikki and Sarah to awkwardly express their affection.

Look at the majestic rocks in the caves with the drips and the calcium!

We stopped at an abandoned cowboy museum for a quick picnic.

Nikki experienced an encounter of the third kind. (Weeeeeooooooeeeeeeooooo!)

But maybe the most important (and last) stop of the day was at the International UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. There, Trevor channeled his true self.

Signing off,
Nikki Stacey and Noelle Wiegand

P.S. It took a very long time to post this because the internet was possessed by aliens. LK and JR.
